Meridian Australis welcomes submissions from authors of colour, Indigenous authors, authors who identify as LGBTQIA+, authors from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or disabled authors.

How do I apply?

Submit a short (max 1,500 word) fiction piece to info@meridianaustralis.au and our team will get in touch.

We are interested in any fiction that the author considers ‘speculative’.

We love pulpy fantasy, hard science fiction, cosmic horror.

We are also enamoured by in punk, unconventional narratives, political commentary, hyperrealities, fantastika, futurism, and everything in between.
